Sonar platinum not responding when saving projects

Hi,
Since installing Cambridge several weeks back, I've experienced a fairly frequent issue of Sonar becoming non responsive when trying to save projects.  It's happened in multiple projects and these are very basic, just 4-5 tracks of digital audio, 1 track of MIDI & 1 VST running (Guitar Rig 4).  I've never had this issue before in X3 and while it may have happened a couple times prior to loading Cambridge, it was never this frequent.
 
I'm tempted to install Dorchester to see if it has any impact, but am being a bit more cautious.  Are there any logs, etc which I can look to see why / where the write process is failing during the project save to help determine the source of the issue?
