Sonar plugins have no sound.(Newbie)

Hi guys:
           I'm a new user of Sonar8.53 Producer.
I would like to play some imported midi files with snyths. It works well with the TTS and True Piano. But when it comes to the Session Drummer and Dimension pro, there isn't any sound(same as Beatscape and others).  And when I compose directly to the midi track, and then play it with the snyths they all works well.    I'm really puzzled.

Dimension Pro - you have to load a sound first. If you don't you won't hear anything.

Beatscape is not a synth. Its a loop player so unless you load some loops you won't hear anything.

Read the help screens on both for more info.

I do have loaded the sound for Dimension pro.  And it really works when i play the content I've written by myself.      If I play a midi file downloaded from the Internet it won't work anymore.

For dimension check the midi channel of the notes and make sure it matches the midi channel of the synth. You can do this in PRV and use event inspector which is a toolbar.

For session drummer, do the same as above, but also make sure the midi note values match session drummer triggers.

    You don't have to yell.

Usually MIDI files you download have program changes embedded in them. Check the Event List view and delete the patch change messages. Also, they are usually General MIDI files and so it would be best if you used TTS-1 which is a General MIDI synth that can play multiple different sounds at once. Dimension can only play one patch at a time.
