Sonar professional upgrade from Sonar X1 LE

Hello everyone,

I bought an upgrade licence from Sonar X1 LE to Sonar Professional, I got a serial number which I could fill in cakewalk.com/redeem.
I activated this serial number and got a kind of activation code for Sonar professional.
Then installed the demo version. And I understood that if I want to activate the demo to normal, I need to export a file to the PC. Then upload this file in the activation website. BUt when I do that, I get the following message:  "An authorization response file could not be generated, if this error persists please contact Technical Support."

Can anyone help me please?

Hi. Is your pc online? If so, I would use Cakewalk Command Center to install SONAR. http://www.cakewalk.com/Command-Center
It takes care of all that, and updates. You just need to log in, and sit back while it installs. If you use custom installs, I would use verbose mode (click the gear icon on the top right, and choose verbose install) as it gives you the opportunity to choose folder where you like to install.
If your pc is offline, https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013384/Offline-Activation#sonar
    Hope it helps.
    All the best.

I did that. And it says you dont have any product !!!

Its only an update from any Sonar product. So it's not the version you fully buy.

The upgraded version is the same as if you bought SONAR. for the first time. I am not sure if I understand correctly, but if you log into http://www.cakewalk.com/ ( or use the Cakewalk logo on the top left of this page) do you not see your products there? If that is the case, I would PM one of the Cakewalk Staff here. They will sort this out.
    All the best.

    I had sonar X1 Le.
I still have it in fact.
Now I bought a software which it says you can upgrade to professional from any other Sonar studio version.
If I log in in Cakewalk I see my sonar X1 Le version 6 times as it's 6 times activated.

HOw to private message one of cakewalk?
