Sonar slow to load - Only first project slow to open.

Hi all.
I have noticed of late that Sonar is quite slow to load upon first opening (about 1 min 20 seconds), and the first project is slow to open (a simple project with only a coupe of plugins will take 45 seconds). After closing the first project, opening a second and any furher projects of about the same size will only take about 10 seconds. 
In the past, each update seemed to reset the startup time for Sonar if it had slowed down at all. The last couple of updates have not, so I wondered if it might be a setting or config file on my computer.
It is only a minor annoyance, but wondered if there might be a solution. The  computer is a dedicated DAW, is not online and is not running any antivirus. 
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Same here, I've been thinking to uninstall and reinstalling it to see if that works but I have no idea myself

    The subsequent projects are probably faster because the disk pages are already in memory.  You probably share a lot of plugins (and samples) between projects and these will/may already be in memory the second time around.
     
    This would depend a lot on the size of your disk i/o buffers.  I have no idea what size Windows normally uses.
