Sonar with Tyros 5 playback issues

Hi guys

I'm new to using a DAW I've got sonar platinum on PC and have my Tyros 5 connected. But I'm having some playback issue. The T5 is connect direct to PC via USB Midi cable with the latest drivers installed. I have imported the T5 definitions into Sonar.I can play the Tyros and record those voices in sonar and play back through the Tyros speakers with no problem. However I can't get the sonar plugin voices to play through the Tyros speakers.
 
I have all midi channels (there are 2 x 16 channels) to the tyros. I have a practice work page with a piano track (track 2) recorded direct from tyros. and a sonar VST electric piano (track 3).
 
On the track 2 bus I have the midi in and out set to digital workstation. the tyros recorded music plays back through tyros speakers.
 
On the track 3 bus the midi in is digital work station and midi out is to master bus. However the master bus just has the out set to the computer speakers and does not give any other option in the drop down menu.
 
I can use the tyros keyboard to play on track 3 however the sound comes out of the comp speakers not the tyros and also there is a big delay (latency) issue. Do I just need to go through an audio interface rather than direct to PC?


Any ideas?

    If I were you, I would turn the Tyros speakers off and play everything through an interface and studio monitors.  Otherwise, you will be getting a very unrealistic idea of what you are recording.  (I have a Tyros as well.)
     
    If, for some reason, you just want to do this, that's cool; but I don't know how.
