Sonar x1 Expanded and VS-20 (Never Mind)

I finally decided to check out Sonar again after an extended stay in Ableton, and upgraded to Sonar x1c Expanded.  The Saturation knob didn't appear, so to make a long story short (as advised by Sonar t/s), I removed all traces of Sonar (a lot, since I had been upgrading religiously from Sonar 2), and downloaded and re-installed Sonar X1 Producer. the X1c update, and finally Sonar Expanded.  The Saturation knob now appears.

However, I CANNOT get my VS-20 to function as a DAW (I had it running on previous versions).  The plug-in shows up, and is available as an ACT Midi Controller; I enable it, and the MIDI activity lights show up when I tweak the knobs, but there is NO VS-20 entry listed in the ACT presets (not sure if I need one there, but.... - it is now set to default) and none of the controls work in Sonar X1c Producer Expanded.

So I'm at a loss - before I make another long distance call(s) to t/s, does anyone know of any steps I am missing?
Update: Never mind, my bad. I had the controller set to ACT instead of selecting the VS-20 that appeared in the plug-in list... Duh!
