Sonar x1 Producer and Comping Please Help Me Out

Hi folks im just new to the forum and new to sonar after years of working with cubase and im looking for a bit of help with a problem i have in x1 Producer i want to be able to comp several layers of audio together , i want to know how i can slip edit the end of a layer and the front of the adjacent layer at the same time so they snap together like you can do with the crop tool if you hover over the 2 layers in sonar 4 exactly how its done in this video around 1 minute into it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsp_fM5Eiew im probably missing something here , but any help at all would be much appreciated Thanks

Does no one know then ? come on there must be some way to do this ? im using ctrl + mute tool just now to highlight the parts i want to use, but there must be a way to slip edit 2 adjacent layers ? ideas on a postcard to.... Thanks

One way is to  split the layers into clips, select them and then use the "Fade clips"option in the "Clips" menu.

Hi FastBikerBoy Thanks, i give that a try when i get to the daw later , so is there no way to do it with the layers on a single track that you know of ? BTW are you the same FastBikerBoy thats on YouTube ? If you are your vids have been a massive help to me recently with making the jump over to sonar, and keep up the good work :)

Yes, that's possible, but the finding the right spot to make the tool appear is difficult. You can have to zoom in very closely and then position your mouse at the very end of one of the clips so you see the blue crop indicator. Then move your mouse vertically until it gets to the exact corner of where the clips adjoin. There you will see the cursor change to the double crop tool and be able to slip-edit both clips at the same time.
