Sonar x2 Instability

Lately Sonar crashes often on my system. It had been stable for for quite some time but now not so much. I recently purchased and installed BFD2 and it preforms poorly playing midi drum tracks from previous projects. It plays just some of the drum part and misses a lot of midi notes. It preformed well on a new song I just completed though. System was unstable before BFD2. I have tried running in safe mode and with no plugins it preforms perfectly. When I started loading VST plugins one at a time the drums would hiccup after loading a Universal Audio plugin. Should I uninstall then reinstall Sonar? Has anyone else had similar issues?

Hi - +1 on the increase midi buffers for playback suggestion, and also, what Universal Audio plugin are you trying to load?
