Sonar x2 synths take 2 mins to load. SOLVED

Going to be on the road for a few months. Will be using laptop instead of studio daw

When I load a synth (even tts-1). It takes over 2 mins to load and give me back control.  A little pencil laughs at me on the screen as I click and click..

Ideas?
I 7 8gb ram dell laptop,  used to work well.

Btw this laptop is used for a lot of stuff.

Once the synth loads all is well, saved file reopened as normal.

Look at the Windows Task Manager to determine what's using CPU or Disk cycles. Then you have to decide what to keep and what to kill.

Also, defrag your disk, if needed. Windows 7 and up usually take care of this for you.

How much free space on the disk? If less than 30%, you need to clean up.
