Song - Tranforma - Should've been the Transforma movie soundtrack!

Just written a new Epic tune. I think i may have got a bit carried away towards the end with crescendo bits and bobs but thats what i love to do!

Other than composition and trying to get the different sounds to gel, i haven't really spent any time mixing it (panning etc). Do you think it needs it? Is the tune worth the effort of mixing? Personally i think it sounds alright, but I'm also getting a bit lazy (and deaf) these days

Thanks

Matt!

That was interesting. It did seem repetitive to me... a lot of the same stuff repeating. Nothing really stood out to grab me, but then this isn't a style of music I listen to. Music without a strong melody goes in one ear and out the other... sort of like musical algebra. Some of the synth sounds were cool.

Are you referring to the Transformers movie or is there a movie called Transforma movie I haven't heard about? Is it a Troma movie? I like those.

Got to agree with the comments above... pretty long and much of the same....

Not a strong hook in the music to my ears.

Sounds OK though, again, also not a listener to this genre.

I liked it, soundtracky...but I would have liked to hear more transfomer thunder in the drums, louder more presence...keep making music.

I also agree with the previous comments. It is too long and repetitive to hold my interest.

Having said that you have some great sounds going on there, especially those oscillating synths, the track does get going at the 1:40 mark with the beat. There are some solid catchy backing riffs at the end too.

Its not something I would listen to but It does have its movie/soundtrack niche to fill.

Thanks guys, got to say that the tune got ripped to shreds in the SOS forums. I prefer your more positive comments :)

Going to shorten and remix it a bit then repost i think :)

    Thanks again!
