Sorry.  I haven't heard this song in more than 30 years, but it just came to mind.  Sorry for that.

Do they have 'woebegan' in them?

I can't check for myself because if I listen to Saxon bits of my face fall off and then I look like I just joined them.

Louie Louie -- The Kingsmen

[edit] Many people have trouble understanding the lyrics, so I supply them here:

King's recruiter gave me the shilling
Promised my band would get top billing.
But before I could join the army
Press gang with burlap sack kidnap me.

(refrain)
(from impressing impressionable young lads into the Royal Navy)

[edit again]
The refrain, of course, goes:
Woh woh woh wobegon,
Louie Louie, oh no, me gotta go.
Et, et, et cetera.

After reading Craig's post above (#7), I'm still trying to think of something vaguely amusing to say about Boy George's fondness for seamen without being vulgar or excessively crude.

I don't get it ... if he loved the idea of being a sailor so much, he could have joined the Navy and volunteered for the submarine service.  I think he would have found gratification in the of rigors of serving below the surface, sealed in a long cylindrical tube with other seamen.

You're half right JB, but when they are sat down reading the paper they have a lap as well (between the middle and the end).

I thought that after you cut a worm in half that it would become two worms.  If that's true, then a worm could have a LOT of bits!

(And, I hear, Bob is a bit mad at even being mentioned with the worms.)
