Songs won't stop playing at the end of a song

Ever since I have been using X1 (I am currently on X1b), the Now Time Marker doesn't stop moving at the  end  songs.

Is anyone else having this problem?  Is there an option?

    Under options check to see that "stop at project end" is selected.

    Yep, I have the same setup and same issue, am trying to find the answer also... have read a few other posts but nothing has worked so far. let me know if you find the fix...this is a pain. Seems like it should be something simple.

    Not to sound stupid but where is "Options" on Sonar X1b?  Thanks for the help

    Glad you've got it worked out.
    I've run into the same issue a few times, and its not affected by the "stop project at end" option in preferences. It just keeeeps going. The control bar is rendered useless, as well as the space bar. I eventuall CNTR +ALT+ DLT and end the program. Fortunately, I am able to save the project before killing X1 in task task manager, but the issue does exist.

    Not lauging at YOU, coolbreeze....because I wondered the same thing when I opened up X1 after nearly 15 years of using Cakewalk.

    I have the same problem and I do have the selection to STOP at Project end selected in Options!

    Several things to check:
    • Envelope nodes
    • Tempo changes
    • Meter/Key changes
    • Stray Midi notes
    • Markers
    • Hidden tracks
    • Bus envelopes
    • Archived tracks
     
    Any events contained in the above outside of where you think the song should end will tell Sonar otherwise
