Sony MDR7506 Headset

I had to replace my AKG K240 headset as the right ear was distorting and overall the volume had dropped off.  They "just went bad".  I bought the Sony MDR7506's at the suggestion of a friend that has a studio.  I just got them today and I'm impressed with the overall response.  I don't mix with the headset and I can't afford the high $$ models, these should work good.

    I bought those to replace my aging MDR v-600's. I couldn't stand them. They were too loud and hyped the highs too much. I couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes. I replaced them with the Senn HD 380 Pro. Much smoother freq response and not as raucous. Although they squeeze my head like a vice grip. I've been stretching them out on my sofa arm rest while not in use for months and now they finally feel comfortable.
