Sony Plugins

Anybody ever get them working, what do you have to do, call and or pay to get those to work?
Right now they're in a demo state and you get beeps every few seconds.

Is your sony software a demo.  You have to register the program w/ sony.  Unless things have changed, Acoustic Mirror and the Hammer comp are locked to SONY.  And the effects are DXI.

LOL, I thought they were the whole time since Sonar and Focusrite are the only things on my studio computer.

Maybe they were.. I don't know for sure because I see them, but I have Sony Movie Studio and Sound Forge Audio Studio and they probably came from those. Seems unlikely that Sonar would include Sony effects.

If you have Soundforge, Sonar will pick the Sony stuff up, but I had to call the USA to get them re-activated after changing PCs once too often.. Wavhammer is, incidentally, a brilliant compressor..

I have X2a and Sound Forge 10, and about 40 Sony plug ins show up in my X2 plug in manager.  I am able to insert any of the SF plugs into an X2 project by the standard method without using any wrappers, and they work.  The wrapper may be applied automatically, but it's invisible if so.  However, let me REPEAT, they do work in Sonar!

    All the best,

What version of Sound Forge are you using?  The latest version (10.d build 503 or higher) of Sound Forge Pro 10 will install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Noise Reduction, Acoustic Mirror, Wave Hammer, and élastique Timestretch.
