[Sorted without outside assistance] Passing Midi controller data to GR4/5

Other than using envelopes does anyone here know if it is possible to pass midi controller data to Guitar Rig4/5.

I have got it working standalone but seem to have hit a brick wall running inside SONAR X1(d).

Using envelopes with SONAR works fine but I was hoping to use the Swell pedal for some more immediate touchy feely sort of interaction.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have Sonar w/ me but I think that you first need to make sure that you select the "softsynth" version of the Guitar Rig, insert it as usual on your audio track, then create a midi track for which the output will be routed to Guitar Rig. Your midi controller should be recorded to that midi track.

Sorry I don't have any easier step by step - haven't used Sonar in a while - but I think this may put you in the right direction (hopefully).

Thanks Rain, I think I tried that already the learn function come up but the Midi just does seem to respond perhaps a support mail is in order.
