Sound Libraries and Dimension

Can I use "any olde" sound library with Dimension, or do the sound libraries have to be developed especially for Dimension?  I'm interested in getting the Native Instruments "57 Drawbar Organ" to get a good Hammond Sound.   What are the considerations in using different sound libraries with Dimension?

Thanks - BB

    Dimension Pro needs SFZ format.

57 Organ is a Kore Instrument, You could try some of the sample conversion programs like Chicken Systems, to see if it can be converted to SFZ but why not use just the free Kore player, it would be cheaper, easier and gaurenteed to work properly.

Here is my "review" of '57 Organ.

While I point out the limitations compaired to the discontinued B4 II I will say it's still a good product and will meet the needs of may people.

The main competition is GSI's VB3 which is worth checking out,  particularly if you want two manuals and extra tweakability.  http://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=showproduct&b=24  They have a demo version so you can try it out.

They also have a free version called Organised Trio which is no slouch.

Thanks, Glyn, very much.. excellent information... Is the Kore Player a DXi or Vst that will plug in to SONAR?

Its a VSTi and a stand alone, so you can use it in Sonar or if you are just jamming as on its own. The free "holiday" sample pack you can download from NI contains some of the 57 organ sounds so you can try before you buy. BTW I was etiting my last post when you replied. Check back for more info.
