Sound delay from A300

I have used other controllers through my PC and found when playing the keyboard the sound output is pretty much real time with the keytouch.
I have noticed that when I key the A300 the sound output is noticeably delayed from the keytouch to the audio output. Is there a way to rectify this problem?

I don't know what DAW you're using, but look for something called 'buffer size' and reduce it. If it's too high you'll get the delay you mention. If it's too low you'll get pops and clicks, so you have to set it just right for your system, and what you're doing at the time.

For example, when you're just recording, you can have a low buffer size if your project isn't too big and full of effects and other VSTs. When mixing, you don't have to worry about latency so you can raise the buffer size so you're not getting pops and clicks.
