Sound library compatability?

I have CakeWalk Music Creator 2002 and Finale 2004 (I prefer the layout of Music Creator for actual composing), and I need a new sound library.  I just can't stand the DXI instruments anymore.

I'm looking at http://www.soundsonline.com/Symphonic-Orchestra since it seems to have good sound and is affordable, but I have no clue how these programs work.  Do you load the sounds into, for example, CakeWalk Music Creator 2002, or does it come with its own editor, or do you have to buy a more recent editor?  I like the setup of CakeWalk Music Creator 2002 and I know how to use it, and I'd rather not learn a new system or be forced to use a less user-friendly system if I can help it.
