Sound problem

Sound problem

when i use my instruments the sound from the speakers are fine but when i record it and play it back with my computer the sound comes up with static. could this be because of my sound card?

    Not sure what is meant by "static" but maybe your signal is being clipped. Try lowering the input levels.

    youll need to be allot more specific than that. youll need to tell us or just look at the meter reading on the tracks and bus's and see if its clipping. Yea its thast easy. If its not clipping, then it could be your sound card configuration.
    So what is your sound card and what are the settings its set to. Whats your pc specs also. The more you say, the better for you
