SoundBlaster Audigy2 as secondary output on Sonar X1 64 bit

Hey,  I just upgraded my DAW to 64 bit (Win7HP, 8GB RAM, Sonar X1 Producer).  I use an Echo Mona as my main I/O, but would like to A/B using my SoundBlaster Audigy2. I can get either card to work independantly -- The Mona seems to perfer ASIO and the Audigy any other driver -- but I cannot get them to work together. Any advice?

I also use the Audigy as my MIDI I/O.  Any tips on getting this to work on X1 64 bit?

Thanks,
Robb

ASIO only supports one card at a time.  you need to use WDM driver mode. The Echo is way better than the gmaing soudnblaster card. I would use the echo soley for audio recoridng and playback.
If your wanting to play world of warcraft, then the soundblaster is good..

EDIT: Make sure you have downloaded the latest 64bit Win 7 drivers for both cards

    Thanks CJ,
I wasn't aware ASIO was an exclusive driver. That explains much. I only record with the Echo, but I like to playback on multiple systems. I was just looking for convenience of A/B monitoring from within Sonar.
I'll try the WDM drivers and see if that works (although I like the ASIO drivers with the Mona).

I'll ask about the MIDI in a different thread I guess.

Then you dont need different cards, you just need different monitors. I have have crappy pc speakers hooked up along side my studio monitors
to see how the mixes sound on pc speakers
