Soundclick pop-ups

So I was visiting SC earlier today. I get a lot of those unclosable pop-ups, even though my pop-up blocker is on. Knowing that, I have the task manager open whenever I'm on SC so I can close them.
But today, the pop-up apparently disabled task manager. I couldn't get the thing to stop and had to resort to yanking the power cord out of the wall.
No virii, as far as I can tell. Ran Kaspersky twice.
I really need to get another web site that will hold more than 5 songs (like my ISP-provided site).

I am sick of those popups on soundclick.  I am moving out of soundclick because of them.

Have you ever considered getting a domain and a hosting package?  It gives you a lot more freedom than you'll ever have with soundclick.

I have Adblock Plus and NoScript installed in Firefox. I've never seen a popup from Soundclick. When I click on a link someone has posted, the soundclick page comes up and I have to click on the blocked out part of the page where the song is and allow it. One extra click is all.

Adblock Plus is good - I can go on Facebook and never see an ad.  It's wonderful.

Reverbnation works well, easy to upload, good quality playback. Not sure about song limits though.

My blocker caught a couple, but when I clicked in a blank, white area of the page to scroll, that's when the killer pop-up occurred.
I use Reverbnation, as well as Mixposure and Indie Music Works. I'll see if there's a limit.
    Time to ditch SC.

I agree with getting p88ded with soundclicks. Not only does it open unwanted windows ( and I have ad block) there is often what one of my clients found to be inappropriate ads that dominate the page.
I know we are expected to put up with this unless we pay.
Has anyone used the paid version with success? Is it 100% uncontaminated? That would be more than worth it.
I have a domain but it's a lot faster to post to sound click than to set a song in motion on my own page.

Whats with song forum,? can't log on last couple time i tried, get server error.
