Soundclick rankings I am proud of

Hey:I realize that in the scope of things, my music is merely a sub-microscopic particle - but I need to share with somebody recent rankings on Soundclick of three songs from my self-produced CD. Since I tend to operate mostly under the radar, to me "for a while"  anyway this represents a nice personal milestone- Thanks!:

It's Been A Long Day Today
# 1 in Rock out of 240,021 songs
# 1 in Rock Unplugged out of 2,670 songs

For Just A While
# 34 in Acoustic out of 148,504 songs
# 1 in Acoustic Vocals out of 9,014 songs

Cool Down
# 168 in Electronic out of 318,942 songs
# 7 in Mellow out of 7,909 songs

A wonderful achievement and you should be rightly proud. I have often gazed wistfully at the number one spots at Soundclick and wondered what I had to do to achieve that accolade! Write better music I suppose! But at least my last piece recently reached number 4 in the Acoustic Vocals while you were and still are at number one - my piece is now slumbering at number 12. Perhaps listening to all my competitors pieces is not the most sensible thing for me to do! Oh well, at least I can say I helped you! And of course will do so again! Best Wishes, Malcolm / LyleMusic.

Now you have to be ready for the fame and glamour.  You may need a press agent soon.

A press agent .... right. Royalty check - bring it - for sure not from Soundclick! Malcolm as soon as I can, will give a listen. Believe me my stuff has hovered at way lower numbers before and it can change in a heartbeat. I found that tweaking the genres from time to time can make quite a difference -

SO to compare some notes - do you guys produce all your stuff within your home studio ? or do you have others do mix / mastering steps?
