Soundcloud users

Just a heads up for Soundcloud users.
 
The audio on Soundcloud doesn't work for me so I can't hear your tune.
Probably lots of others with the same issue.
 
Just sayin.

    I had a similar issue a year or so ago. A Flash update made it work again.

    Yes , I am having the same exact problem over here and it has been happening to me for some time now.
    I can't even listen to my own tunes over there...
    I'm guessing you are using your Mac to listen ?
    My browser is Safari 6.1.2 over here on my end .
    when I go to soundcloud I have to turn off private browsing to even access soundcloud ,  then if I'm lucky I will get the the song and when I hit play the visual aspect of the player will start cycling through the song and I will have no sound ….
    after refreshing the page a few times I might actually be able to hear the song 
    btw…. my flash player is all updated …..
    I have noticed that with the embed soundcloud musical clips , such as a software companies sound demo s the clips will play ….
    to put this politely , I'm not a fan and I have often thought about just deleting my account over there ...

    I spent December '13 with  tech support from souncloud and after numerous test i had to do and numerous emails, it worked...................for about a week and flaky at best.  I switched to using box.

    I just listened to a few SC tunes posted here.   Using IE 9 on a Windows machine FWIW.

    Yea, it was just a heads up for those that use it.
    I don't for my own stuff just because it's always been iffy.
    IMO, the problems are related to the intrusive cookies and tracking they are trying to get a handle on.
    Corporate (Cakewalk) sponsorship always rings wrong for me.

    Interesting - I'm using Safari 6.0.2 on Mountain Lion and I haven't had any issues with Soundcloud.

    I'm on Mavericks. Safari 7.02
    I just upgraded. Didn't work in Snow leopard/safari whatever version either.

    Not sure what the issue could be. I've been using SC for over 3 years now and while there can be the odd issue here and there, I've never had any real problem with it. It must be a browser issue. I'm on Window 7 both at home and at work and while I used to use Firefox I've now switched to Chrome as my main browser but didn't notice any difference between the two as far as the Cloud goes.

    I know people who have older OS versions on their iphones and ipads who can't play Soundcoud. The most recent updates should have cleared that up. It seems to me that maybe that version of Safari isn't playing well with HTML5 which is what soundcloud is built on. The whole idea being that HTML 5 is designed to be played across androids, iphones and supposedly everything else. Anyone with an older browser or who is using IE might experience problems.
     
    You would think that IE would be on their game but in this case not always. I use Chrome and Safari and they seem to be ok. Soundcloud also occasionally updates their servers and things are down for a short while.

    I've had exactly one issue where a song on soundcloud would not play.
     
    It lasted for about two hours and then went away.
     
    Chrome/W7 64bit.

    I have no problem today, not sure 3 days ago, but didn't, I am guessing, seem to have a problem then. Using firefox.
