Southern Girls With Big Hair (Rockabilly)

Back in the late '60s, '70s, and even in the early '80s it was a bit of a fashion fad for girls to have BIG hair.  This was especially true in the south.  Think of all the country girl singers of that era.  A perfect example is Dolly Parton who is not only known for her big hair but for other big attributes (you know -- like talent, song writing, business sense, etc.)  This fashion was brought to my attention a few months ago when I saw an ad for the Big Hair Ball being held in Ybor City.  It seemed like a good subject for a song.  So, I decided to have some fun and here is a silly little rockabilly song about southern girls with big hair.

    I enjoyed this? I listened from the last bit to the 1st part. Yes, bottom 1st... We were sitting in the hot tub, and she asked if I wanted to shave her? And I said yes... So there I was, shaving her back? Then one thing lead to another.

    Nice one Freddy. Very nice sound and vocals were awesome. Liked the lyrics, they seem to fit the song well.

    Hi John.  Every once in a while I like to pick up on a silly little thought and have fun building a song around it.  Girls might like to have fun but this boy likes to have fun too (at least every once in a while).  Thanks for listening and thanks for the kind words.
