Space - Featuring Batsbrew on guitar
A little while ago Batsbrew suggested that we try and do a collaboration, here is what came out of such a thing. Space All guitars, final Mastering and conversion to MP3 by Batsbrew. Original idea, keys and mix by The Wookiee. Big thanks to the Batsbrew for all his excellent guitar playing and general help.

At one time space was thought to be very silent. According to what I have been reading recently, the opposite is actually true. It can be very noisy. I'll bet that it doesn't sound as good as this. Nice work John and great sounding guitar work by the Batsbrew!

Fantastic collab. Very Pink Floydian up to about 1:40, love it. The guitar/synth interplay after that is majestic.

Thanks James, Bat did all the clever guitar stuff I just wrote the base tune left some spaces for Bat to fill and some bits were he could play off me. Appreciate the ears my friend. Thank you Tim, as I have said it was fun and a cool learning process to work with a guitarist for Bat's talents, again thanks for your ears.

Well, who would have thought a furball and a winged terror mouse could play so nicely together. Now, this is really cool. It's like mixing chocolate and peanut butter. You end up with a wonderful mix. John, this kind of electronica or electronica hybrid is easy for me to listen to. I've said many times that a lead vocal, a lead instrument or a video ties this type of music together. You guys tore it up. Nice, Rob. Don't forget to check for fleas.

That was really cool... Not much to add to what's already said - great (and somewhat unexpected) mixture of instruments and styles, but it works. I like the main melody. I could see this being used in a movie along the lines of Legend or Labyrinth.

Love stuff like this! Great interplay between guitar and synths. Wook, I would like to have heard a longer decay on the brighter lead synth voice (the Moog sounding one with high filter cutoff freq). I think it would have blended a hair better, especially for "space music", and would have matched the other one and the delays of the guitar a bit better. Minor stuff... Thanks for sharing this one and cool collab!
