Spacebar stopping problem

Hello all.
I used Cakewalk pro audio in the past.
However I am now using SONAR and a problem arose.

When I play a midi file,
if I wish to stop for editing, I will press Spacebar.
In pro audio, the timeline will stop immediately,
so I can edit the part that need to change.
However in SONAR, when I press Spacebar,
the timeline will go back to the place that start the playback(e.g. the very beginning).

Is there any shortcut key/option to change the timeline setting stop immediately when I press Spacebar without rewinding back? Thank you~

    Sid is correct, but you should try to leave the option at the factory default.

    Use ctrl-space to stop at the current position, and space to stop and return to the starting position. This works really well once you get used to it.

    Use ctrl-space to stop at the current position, and space to stop and return to the starting position. This works really well once you get used to it.


    ..but you can still untick that option .. then it will be reversed - use space to stop at the current position...use ctrl+space to stop and return back
