Spaceships and Cowboys (original track)

Hi all,

This is a song I used to do in a band 20 years ago. Myself and the singer recorded parts of this (barebones, guitar/vocal) 10 years ago and it was left unfinished.

I recently found it and thought I'd finish it off! All done in Sonar.

Would be interested to hear from some fresh ears.

Ta!

Really Nice! I could hear this blasting from the radio. Great chorus, hook lines and song arrangement with a very charming vocal. The mix translates very well over here.

    Cheers,

The mix works well here sounds like a well thought out song, thanks for sharing.

What did you use for drums? They sound very real.

Sure is a well-done mix. The guitars mixed together kind of overwhelm the vocals a little bit in the chorus, but who cares really.  Vocals are super solid, great performance!    Kind of like a nice blend between Sixpence None the Richer, and the Samples!!! A real treat to listen to, thanks for reincarnating this.

Thank you for your kind words!

Drums are BFD3 with the midi data played in 'live' on a Roland TD3 back when we did the original recording.

All guitar amp emulation, NI ACBox and Twang Combos and TH3 on bass and the intro guitars.

    Thanks again everyone.

I couldn't not listen with that title...

Sounds good here!   It's got a warm, organic vibe to it, and even though there are lots of layers there's still a good sense of clarity.   And the lyrics are a trip.
