Speaker selector switch for active monitors

I would like to get a speaker selector switch.  I have 4 sets of minitors, and my presonus central station only has 3 speaker pair outputs..Since this switch will be before any amplification, do I really need to buy a speaker selector thats costs hundreds of dollars, or will the $50 ones work fine.  I worried about any signal degredation that might occur because of the switch.

Most switches will not degrade the signal but the problem is finding one that has balanced I/O.  All the ones I've seen are for stereo gear and are unbalanced only.  Most things that are called "speaker switches" are for amp level so you might need to search on line or input selector, not speaker switch.

This is the only one I've found so far...

The industry standard is the Mackie Big Knob.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I recommend this- I have two-
Way transparent, works great, and I like having the knobs on the front instead of on top-

I looove it! And it is way inexpensive

I have the presonus "monitor station" which is a compact and scaled back version of the "central station" ... and if I'm not mistaken, the direct competitor of the "big knob"  I have been very happy with it.  The reason why I went with the presonus "monitor station" vs. the "big knob" was strictly in the name.  It's difficult enough trying to explain to my wife that I am sitting in the basement by myself "dithering".  I didn't need the added complication of using "dithering" and "the big knob" in the same sentence.

In all seriousness, I think the "big knob" is also limited to 3 speaker outs.
