Yes it would be possible , but it would involve a couple of steps ….
I would recommend using a program called transcribe to slow the audio file down and learn the parts / notes …by ear
( a lot of people use this program a friend of mine that knows Wolf Marshall told me that what he uses )
then you would have to have some chops with a notation program to input the correct notes and rhythmic values
FORGET TRYING TO USE SONAR FOR THAT ,,,A WASTE OF TIME …
Some of the people that write for guitar magazines use a more specific notational programs that includes markings for bends , trills , slides , cadenzas and a lot of other guitar specific nuances ….you can google those
if you don't need all that MuseScore 2 would be a good free alternative
edit addendum , if you happen to be really creative and have a full version of Melodine sp? you may actually be able to slow down the audio first in SONAR and then slide it over to a midi track and have a polyphonic midi file created that may even be in the ball park ….or if you get really desperate slide the solo in drum replacer and give it your best shot ….
I myself still go for what i mentioned first ….I don't even bother trying to write them down any more ….
playing a long w the recording at full speed is my pay off …even if it involves having to work it up to speed over time …
