Speaking of wood ...

I recently got rid of Dish Network because I have high speed internet now where I live, and I signed up for a free trial of Amazon Prime.

They have all but the last season of a British show called Torchwood. Oh my it's an awesome show.

It's about an alien time traveler that can't die.

The only problem with it is, there's a lot of sexual content, no nudity thank God, because this alien dude has no boundaries ... but if you can get past that, it's probably the best show of it's kind that I've ever seen.

Been watching the new Dr. Who also ... fantastic! None of the adult content that's in Torchwood.

You can catch these all for free if you sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime.

    Torchwood is good.

Captain Jack is an alien, but technically not a time traveller in the sense that The Doctor is a time traveller.

Torchwood:Doctor Who.  A clever anagram indeed!  Torchwood was produced because there was considerable demand for the stories without the watershed limitations needed for a children's show.  I don't recall there being an excess of adult content, but then in Britain once you get past 9pm all sorts of fun crops up on the telly.

The doctor can die, if he doesn't regen in time.  And, I think there were only a finite number of regens available to him anyway.  A more informed Who fan will no doubt have the full details...

The max number of regens always seems to be one more than the current actor number...

Don't they tell you at the top of the screen how many lives you have left?
