Specific ability required!

Hello,
I'm looking for some CD burning software that lays all the tracks out, each with its own volume control, so I can listen to the tracks of my album side by side and tweak the volume of each track to give a consistent volume for the CD.

I have gone back and adjusted each individual track in HS7, but doing each track in isolation doesn't give me the subtelty of comparison. The automatic volume adjustment on many CD burner software isn't subtle enough either!

This seems like a very basic and essential requirement when putting together a CD, yet I can't find any software that has this feature.

Any ideas?
Thank you for your time.

CD Architect is designed exactly for that purpose.

You can also import all the songs to one mastering project in SONAR and do just what you described.. IIRC then you can export them eact to a wav of its own.

By "tracks" I assume you mean stereo tracks of songs, not individual tracks in a project.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

Thank you for your replies and apologies for posting this query twice, which happened by mistake when my computer crashed!

Thanks Beagle, CD architecture sounds exactly what I need, but as this is rare occurrence, (I'm not sure how many albums I've got in me!), it might not be worth the expense. I'll have a look though, trial version?!

Kalle, yes I did mean songs, sorry about that. This sounds promising, but I have no idea how to do this or what IIRC means. If you've got time, can you give me a little more detail.
The only way I thought this could be done on SONAR, I've got HS7 XL, would be to string all my songs together and end up with a 43 minute song!

    Thanks again.

Read you other thread before this one. Answered there.
