Speeding Up Audio

Hi,

I can't be the only one to experience this, but a lot of times when I listen to a project I'm working on,
and all of my project where constructed in X3 Producer, it seems to be faster than the BPM it's set to.
Anyone any ideas ? And if so, how do I fix it.

Thanks

John

Do you by any chance use a Fast Track interface? I had a problem ages ago with projects seemingly playing faster or slower than normal, and I can't quite remember but I think it turned out that someone else with a Fast Track had the same problem and that it was probably a sample rate mismatch. I don't use the FT anymore so my memory is vague but if you do a search you may find the original thread about it.

    Hi James,

I don't know what a fast track interface is, but I have a Komplete audio 6 interface

    Thanks

I had a track recorded at 120 bpm..that was bounced...then played as audio against a new midi track at 120 bpm and the bounced audio was faster than the  new midi....  Must have something to do with the bouncing process??

jwh... I've used an NI audio kontrol interface before for a couple years and it is still around as a backup but never noticed tempo fluctuations...
