Spiders. Trip Hop? Featuring julibee on vocals

Towards the end of 2011 i sent some music to Julianna to see if she was inspired to write some lyrics and do some vocals for it. Fortunately, she did, but when i received them i was living at my house due to just having my strokes and i was living at my sisters for the next few months. When i did get to hear them i was knocked out and was determined to finish the track.. It's been over a year in the making, so i hope you like it. :-) The mix was a real pain as there are a few low freq sounds all vying for position and it could probably do with a few tweaks. All comments welcome. Cheers, John. http://soundcloud.com/usb-2/spiders-feat-julibee

Excellent production!  The arrangement is very classy, as are the vocals.  This ought to be heard by many.

I love the way the vocal comes in so beautifully and complements the sort of menacing intro. Gentle and delicate, which becomes dark and scary, as Scottytunes said. I just absolutely loved this.

Strokes have a long recovery process, but treatments are pretty effective these days. My mom is going on 25 years since her two when she was 50. Fortunately it seems to not have effected your skills and artistry. This is brilliant.

Be sure to print the lyrics.  I'm a lyrics guy I like to read them.

This very drifty and compelling.  I wanted to hear the vocals a bit more.   I like it... but I couldn't make all the words because my ears are a little fuzzy on the input.

Cool sound.  I could hear this playing over movie credits.. it has that vibe.

Nice job you all.  John, Im so happy to see you working here again.  As with most of this genre I think it takes too long to get to the vocals.  I've said that a bunch and I know it's the music style.  Your thingys are way good, John.  Many and tasteful.  Nice job by Julianna.
