That's one reason I like my $29.00 Electric 88. As a guitar payer I never really paid attention to EP's. I knew Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder could play the crap out of them put that was about it. But now, I just love the wide variety of sounds and the rhythmic stuff that can be done with them.

    It's Bass, not Bass.

I see where you're coming from. It's the other way around here. I'm a keyboard player and a guitar payer. All pay no play makes Fleer a dull boy.

I am not quite as impressed with this instrument from the demos and videos I watched/listened to.  Kind of pricey IMO, too. Spitfire's orchestral stuff impresses the hell out of me, but I can't really see how adding this would give me more than what I already have. As far as the mangled bass and other tones, I like a piano to sound like a piano, even an electric one. All that distortion, etc.--meh--not for me.

I would love to hear the meetings that go into planning these releases.

"Hey, I think we should put out a Rhodes and Whirly library!"

"Yeah, that's the ticket.  Even though there are 500 other such libraries and everyone owns at least 50 of them, our will be the one people will have to add to their colleciton!"

"We should definitely price it much higher than our competition so that people will know that it's the best."

    "Brilliant!"

I agree with that. If it sounds TOO good I can usually fix that with my playing.
