Splat Plugin Menu Problem After 2016.11 &.12 Updates (SOLVED)

I have an issue where I have both Sonar Artist & Platinum on the same machine & when I've updated both DAWS to 2016.11 & 12 my plugins are all registered properly in the plugin manager in both DAWS following the same plugin paths but Platinum does not show them in the effects bin (rightclick menu) but Artist does. I've uninstalled/reinstalled both Artist & Platinum, Reset/Rescan all plugins In both DAWS and still have the same issue unless I restore my computer using a windows restore point. After Restoring Windows, Platinum will then show my plugins in the effects bin FX menu. No problems otherwise. I am running Windows10 on a new HP laptop/AMD/8Gig ram/quadcore.
Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

Artist and Platinum may be using different plug-in layouts. The layout options are at the top of the plug-in menus and the menu in the Browser Plugins tab.

I solved the problem thanks to the insight you guys gave me. It turns out that I did not give my VST scan (showing All my 3rd party plugins a name). the field was blank so when I updated Platinum it defaulted to the (platinum plugins only plugin menu), (not showing my 3rd party plugins).
     To solve this:
    1) I gave the VST scan (showing all my 3rd party plugins) in the plugin manager a name.
    2) I went into Platinum and also gave the plugin menu (showing all my 3rd party plugins) the same name in the browser & then clicked on that name in the FX bin plugin menu layout field.
    3) I then updated Platinum to 2016.12 & all my 3rd party plugins were properly displayed in all menus!

I'm so happy I could go ice fishing on thin ice!
    Thanks guys!
