Splat using pro settings?

Hello all,
Interesting condition using Splat. In CCC I have both pro and plat in the connected list. I decided to uninstall pro. After removed, I opened plat to find no start screen. Did all the checks, enabled in preferences. All looked good. Still no start screen. Also found that I had dropped from 235 Vst's to 180...Whaaat. reloaded pro to see if start screen was there. There it was. Professional start screen. Closed down pro. Opened plat. There it was. Platinum start screen. Any thoughts? Also Dim pro is only listed under Professional. I wonder if Anniversary update is causing inside confusion. Any great ideas?

All versions of Sonar use shared components/utilities, when you uninstall one version, sometimes (if not always) it affects your remaining versions. This just happened to me recently. I've been using Sonar X3 since it came out and decided to install the Platinum 60 day fully functional demo. When I uninstalled Platinum, it screwed up several things in X3, so I had to reinstall X3 to get what was "broken" back. Sounds like something similar might be happening to you although I'm not 100% sure.

yes ping is correct, we went through this last week I believe and he had a similar issue.
if you want pro uninstalled, then do so but keep in mind you'll have to open up CCC and re install platinum again.
it should not take that long considering its already in your downloads folder.

Thanks Chuck,
I'll try to keep up. Until I upgraded to Splat I didn't seem to have any problems. Almost seems like I'm a newby now. Things seem a touch different. A touch different is almost worst than a big difference. Lol
I'll be around more often now.
