Spliting Stereo Channels

I have a couple of tracks which were recorded stereo. I want to create two separate tracks, one with the left and the other with the right. This should be simple but I cannot find it?

There are a few options mentioned here:

rbowser's suggestions seems like the easiest.

Edit-Bounce to Tracks and then select Split Mono as the Channel Format.

Can't you just import as mono tracks? Or is that no longer available in X1? :)
