Staff View?

Hi,

I'm a Cakewalk customer from the very beginning (1.0) and always used the Staff View for composing. I'd especially liked to switch the length of notes by pushing the equivalent number like "8" for 8th, 4 for quarter etc. This doesn't work anymore (it is now destroying the main view!) ... did I miss an option or did cakewalk drop it? The Staff View doesn't also display the correct note length.

It'll be great if you can point me to the right settings :)

Thanks and cheers,
glen
P.S. How can I get the Toolbar back in the Staff view? Thanks!!

The numbers are for something else now. Someone posted something about it a whild back. You'll have to search for it. As for the staff view toolbar, we all would like to see it back.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

Is there a petition? I'd also like to have back the double-click in the Main-View to open the track-settings instead of maximizing it!

If you use SONAR Plus (formerly SONAR X1 Helper)...
If I did the same thing with the staff view as I've done with the PRV (see http://www.sonarplus.co.uk/Pages/About.aspx), would that be of use to you? I admit I don't use the staff view, but I could quite easily add the same note length buttons to the staff view if that would be useful to you?

I'm not the OP, and I'm waiting for X1b, but if the staff view still has issues after X1b, I would definitely consider Sonar Plus ;)

Do you think you could fix all the other nagging bugs in Staff View with Sonar Plus?

Do you want me to go ahead and add the note length (event draw duration) buttons to the staff view?
