Stange Behaviour Inserting Soft Synths

Hi,
I noticed two strange things.

  1. When I inserted a first instance of Rapture, SONAR created Rapture 1.
  2. When I inserted a second instance of Rapture, SONAR created another Rapture 1.
  3. Then, when I inserted a third instance of Rapture, SONAR called it Rapture 2.
Also the little dialogue that pops up, when clicking on the button to the right of the soft synth's name, seems to be missing text.

I'm curious if anyone else experiences this.

It's not a stupid question at all. It's a bug. It doesn't happen with my system. I've just inserted 20 instances of Rapture and they were all numbered correctly.

Does it happen all if the time? Also, if you load a sound in one of them, does it load it in the other one aswell?

Yes it happens in other projects too. I did not yet check if this happens with more soft synths

No, the first instance of Rapture keeps its orginal program.

I too have experienced some odd things with certain VSTs. If I insert one instance of impOSCAR, when I open up the soft synth panel, it looks fine. If I add a second instance and go to open that panel, more than half of the graphics are gone.

i don't see that with imposcar here - i can insert multiple instances, either as midi/audio pairs or simple instrument tracks, the grahics are fine; are your video drivers uptodate?

Do you have more than one instance of Rapture in the synth drop down list?
If you do when adding synths if you add one version and then the other both will be numbered 1.
