Hello all, I've had a bit of a break from here and from writing. Working on other things for the past month or so. Back to writing again, this tune was thanks to the 8 note melody given to me by my lovely wife, so I've expanded it and based the whole piece on those 8 notes. The bass drum a bit too high and busy in the mix. so that's something for me for fix. Look forward to all of your views and ideas on how to improve it. As well as checking out your music. All the very best, Gus https://soundcloud.com/russ-white/stars

I enjoyed this a lot. Beautiful melody and some great production. The change at 2.48 took me by surprise too. (In a good way!)

This sounded very good especially considering you based the song on an 8 notes melody. It was at times a bit confusing when there was more stuff happening at the same time. I liked the melody and it was skillfully arranged. kakku

Very nice Russ! There is a dramatic feel to the melody that is begging for orchestra and timpani, lol. Regards, Dan

Thanks, I've since updated and highlighted the leads parts near the end. I now think it's a finished piece. Although I'm half tempted to see if I can push these 8 notes even further. cheers. Gus

Thanks for you comments. I've updated the piece from 2:48 to the end. I think it's much clearer now. I've still got it :) lol

Thank you Dan. I still don't own a timpani section, so that's for the future. Loving your Home again track.

Really nice work, Gus. I liked it a lot. The melody is simple but strong, and what you've created IMHO supports it well. Nice mix too. That was a quick 4 minutes.

I like it. There's plenty going on with flashes of Vangelis. The trippy piano is timely at one minute in. Good Job.

Cheers. I only know Chariots of fire so couldn't comment on that. Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback.

Thanks you Markus. A few people have said that my music/production is the stuff of film scores. So I must be doing something right. I did have a lot of fun writing this one, and it came together very quickly. Thanks for the words. Gus
