Start of new theme
If compared to Mercury, it is quite a bit lighter and has more contrast, but kinda retaining the same color scheme. Much more to do and will post as it evolves. Some items I can't figure out which one it is... but will keep on.....

In the track pane, where the tracks are listed... I'd like to lighten that up...but can't figure out what item that is. Haven't done much on the console yet

Keep going, please. I have not abandoned Mercury. I still find it most friendly theme, just needing a gentle polish.

Yeah...I"ve really grown to like Mercury, but as you said, needs a little tweaking for me. Trying to lighten it up a tad, especially in track view and give the whole theme more contrast. I sit about 4 ft from my twin 27 inch monitors, and need all the contrast I can get. Like I said, it looks similar to Mercury, but I changed an amount already in the track view. I spent an evening on the meters and decided I didn't like them the next day. I'm finding the resolution isn't all that great and lots of text has blurry edges, due to color gradation from the edges of the text to the middle.....like black centers with gray edges. Making it all black really sharpens things up.

AWESOME - I would most certainly be interested in grabbing a copy of your new theme, when you get it to where you like it. I like how it looks thus far - thanks for putting in the time to figure this stuff out. Bob Bone
