Starting Sonar while holding shift makes "Demo Mode"??????

As I was trying to find the stock mastering templates in the start screen, I tried starting Sonar Platinum by holding the shift key upon startup and found that I was in Demo mode...as if I didn't "own" the software??? Any thoughts?

    My belief in this common occurrence is that a W10 update is to blame. 
    For me it has only happened on W10 and not on W7. 
    Just open CCC and let it scan, It  normally will go away after that. But lord help us when there is no more CCC.
