Static...

I used this program a couple months ago just got too busy.  So I opened it up yesterday and a msg that wasn't reading before says I don't have the plug-in for AmpliTubeXGEAR (Track: 'Guitar'), which I don't use anyways so I didn't think about it.  But now there's random sharp static noises on my recordings.  I do the very basic sort of thing, guitar or keyboard-amp-laptop with an input jack.  microphone-laptop through usb cable.  It all worked perfectly fine before but now it gets that static.  The only way it records without the static is if I use the laptop's internal mic.  Any suggestions?

that means you haven't registered amplitube.  if you don't use it anyways and don't want it, then just delete it from your project.  it opens in the "normal template" so you'd need to delete the it from the normal template and then save the template.

if that's what you want to do and can't figure out how, let us know and we'll give you detailed instructions.
