Hi, I would rather state that folks quoting a book, that is one of the worst translations ever done anywhere, is far weirder and more dangerous than any bong out there, or _________ I have ever met!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Uh.. no. Ok, I said it, now what. Life would be miserable without drugs... heck, I'd probably be dead. I was an amateur pharmacist when I was 20something, now I just go to the doctor and my cousin... Then again, I'm not a kid so this does not apply to me right?? J

Hi, Drugs or no drugs, there is no such thing as teen-hood, or right after, without some kind of fun! And we already know that the good book, usually only gets us more kids on welfare, than it does good girls or boys! All in all, the only thing that bugs me about my generation, is how people still look at drugs as bad and dismiss a lot of the culture of the 60's because of it. Check out the quote by Ken Kesey towards the end of the film "Magic Trip" ... and guess what ... it's too true to be true! And it was said 50 years ago and then some, and we didn't care ... we didn't listen and fell for the confusion of the medium is the message, by pseudo intellectuals. I had my share ... I enjoyed things. I loved. I heard music. And I still talk about it, and have not forsaken my generation!

I think I fried my brain a bit with hallucinogens and E's and suchlike during my 20's, and still feel the effects a little to this day. I've always suspected my grey matter doesn't shift quite as fast as it would had I been a goody two shoes back then. Apart from having probably overdone it a bit though, I have no regrets. I had some profound insights and visions on some of those trips, and the "love drugs" were a lot of happy fun. However I'd stop short of actually recommending them to young people because it's so easy to cause yourself permanent damage or death, and who the hell knows what's in some of those pills you buy.

Hi, sharke ... I think I fried my brain a bit with hallucinogens and E's and suchlike during my 20's, and still feel the effects a little to this day. ... For me, I noticed that there were a lot of similarities between these trips and my own inner dreams and visions ... the difference was not that great ... if I say that this one was more colorful, the next dream makes that experience look silly and stupid and childish. I'm strange that way, but because of the serious language barrier, for many years, guess what I do best? Translate my own inner words and sights! sharke ... Apart from having probably overdone it a bit though, I have no regrets. I had some profound insights and visions on some of those trips ...... I think the trick was not abusing it. I always did it when I know I was OK for the next day, or work or the like, so it would not interfere with anything I did. When I got to UCSB, I didn't need to do any of these, as most of the kids were not "experienced" and were instead showing off that they could get their butt picked up as "experience" ... and using drugs to avoid dealing with it all, if it was not something you cared for, which happened to at least 2 ladies I know ... For me, it was always about my own inner experience. Nothing else. sharke ... However I'd stop short of actually recommending them to young people because it's so easy to cause yourself permanent damage or death, and who the hell knows what's in some of those pills you buy. ... Same. It's not for everybody. If you are stuck/convinced on the good book or anything else that you believe is life, seeing a glimpse into another world is counter-productive. It's the same thing when I tell youngsters to travel so they can see the world a little more and learn more than just the cowboy way of life here in the Pacific Northwest and the country top ten!
