Steinberg CMC-TP and Sonar X1

Greetings,
 
Does anybody know if the new Steinberg CMC-TP transport controller will work with Sonar X1 producer?  And if so, is this seamless or does it require some kind of software plugin? This looks like one of the best transport controllers I've seen in a long time.
