Awesome hey! I mean I only just purchased the full version of Sibelius earlier this year, after they changed the rules with upgrading for educational/teaching versions(at least in Oz), which threw a spanner in the works for me. So it's still dissapointing that I won't be able to upgrade Sibelius as such, and things like proper Rewire integration between Sibelius and Sonar will never come to fruition now.
But, it is sweet justice that the old team will be able to take all their knowledge and make an even better notation software into the future than what Sibelius was/is. Lucky Cubase users on this one too. If only I could make sense of Cubase(tried when I was first making the choice of DAW software a long long time ago, and couldn't understand the layout, terminology, anything, so never went back). Let's hope they keep it as a standalone product when it sees daylight.

I think it's going to be a better product, without old (software compatibility) baggage to carry forward.
