Stem Burger

Okay.  I know some of Prince George's loyal subjects our British friends have some acquired tastes.  This one just doesn't seem all that appetizing or cost effective.  http://now.msn.com/lab-grown-burger-made-of-stem-cell-beef-by-inventor-mark-post-to-be-served-in-london

I'm not a math wiz by a far shot, but somecow doesn't add up here.....

"The first test-tube burger was made from 3,000 tiny strips of meat grown from stem cells taken from a cow's muscle tissue and cost $383,875 to make.
Inventor Mark Post says it will keep beef from becoming more expensive as demand increases."

    It's real beef, for vegetarians.

Would a true vegetarian  want something that looks like real beef? Answering my own question...I guess so. We have the veggie burger. How about a tomato that looks like a tomato? If they don't like meat why do they want it to look like meat?

Maybe the veggies are trying to trick the meaties into eating something not meat. Ok we are not that stupid. I can taste a soy burger. I know a black bean burger when I bite one. But this is a little different. They are making a meat patty from a meat process.

This could be difficult at the drive in window. " Yeah, I'll have me that there double hybrid genetically mutated almost hamburger hold the cheese...oh...and a diet coke.

Wow, your link is almost as big as the sandwich!

I was getting hungry right until they started adding the chili.  After the onion rings I would have gone with some BBQ sauce and been a happy (if very fat) camper.  Another route would have been to add fish poppers and some tartar sauce.  Mmmm!!!
