Step Sequencer + Pitch Bend .. Bug? Not sure

So here's what happened. I was working on a bass line for a song in the step sequencer, and decided to use pitch bend to hit a note instead of getting the attack from a new note. I tied the notes, selected the pitch bend, and clicked at the top of the bar for the second note. This did exactly what I expected.

However, all notes after that still had the pitch bend set to max, so the song was transposed from then on. I added a pitch bend event in the "rest" after the bent note, but I couldn't set it to zero .. could just set it as low as I could with the mouse.

Seems like a bug to me, but I don't want to call it that since it's actually doing what I told it to do .. but there's a functionality lapse at least making it impossible to set back to zero after the note - automatically or otherwise.
