Hi,

Now you made me watch a video when I should be working . . .

So if I buy this pedal I can sound like that? Cool!

Hmm. Thanks for posting this, PerChr. The link works, but there's no video -- only a big white rectangle on the page, where I assume the video is supposed to be. I even turned Shockwave Flash Object back on. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I just bought this pedal, so I'm dying to hear what Vai makes it sound like.

    Hi Jessie,

not sure why you can't see it.
When I rightclick on the video frame it says Adobe Flash Player 9.

Any way it's also on youtube, so you can check it out there

Thanks for the 'Tube link. When I buy a new piece of gear, I often wonder what it sounds like in the hands of someone with talent.

    Great video.

Terrible sounding pedal though. I suppose tastes vary. I guess the "root beer" JEM I have in my basement suggests I was interested in his tone at one point in my life.

Monkey grips are still cool through right?

Time to try on my multicoloured stetchy pants and Chip and Pepper shirts to see if they still fit.

I hate Vai's music and his tone.

But that was really funny and makes me respect him more. Gotta be able to laugh at yourself.

    Well said.

My sentiments exaclty - especially when you see guys with a tenth of his ability who are so far up their own a$$e$ it just ain't funny!
