Steven Slate Drums 4 - EX to Platinum upgrade

There is a limited time offer to upgrade the EX version of Steven Slate Drums 4 to Platinum for $99. If you bought the EX version you should have received an email that tells you how to get you personal upgrade code.
 
I am tempted by this one. It seems you get 4 times the number of kits. My impression is a lot of the "kits" would be called "presets" in Toontrack terminology. I like the sonds in the EX package but I have not warmed to the new interface however.
 
Any Platinum owners have any pros and cons to add?

I've used the Platinum version once (so far). I used the metal kit as a scratch drum track. The sounds were good to my ears.
